Marble is a natural metamorphic stone that is known world wide for it's beauty. The rock, usually a form of limestone, has been altered from it's original state under intense heat & pressure, leading to its recrystallization process.

Marble is highly resistant to heat and is known to be a durable material. However, unlike granite, marble does require a fair degree of maintenance to ensure its beauty and elegance lasts for years. Marble must be professionally sealed after installation to avoid any staining. Timely cleanup of spills, especially those containing acidic or corrosive ingredients,  will also help with this.
